There’s an incredible video circulating on the Internet about Jose Mourinho allegedly giving Gareth Bale an ultimatum about his future.
The whole situation between Jose Mourinho and Gareth Bale has taken a new turn with the Welshman’s recent attitude. Initially, the Tottenham manager believed he could recover the best version of Bale for his squad this season. But the forward’s attitude has proven exactly the opposite of what the gaffer was expecting. Many of the same attitudes he had at Real Madrid are being adopted by Bale right now.
Obviously, Mourinho is having none of it and he immediately shut the player down. There’s a video circulating on the Internet where Tottenham players are in the middle of practice while Mourinho is scalding Gareth Bale. Only one of two players can hear that specific phrase from the manager, one is Bale and the other one is Sergio Reguilon: “You want to stay here? Or go to Real Madrid and play no football.”
Perhaps Zidane was right about Bale.
As time keeps going by and videos like this keep surfacing, Zinedine Zidane keeps getting points for being right all along. Either Gareth Bale starts working hard in order to get his level back, or he will return to that hell at Real Madrid. Mourinho’s scalding reflects what the player is going through and the manager’s frustration.
We bet that the coach keeps regretting not signing Gareth for Manchester United when he had the chance. Perhaps getting him there would’ve been better for his career. Right now, there is little chance for him to rescue the player Gareth was only a couple of years ago. This is a man who seems to have lost his love for the sport and he doesn’t look like he’ll recover it any time soon.
