After knowing who will get who in the Europa League draw, we need to hype up Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s return to Manchester United.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s time at Manchester United was almost a dream for all Red Devils’ fans, it definitely happened but it didn’t last long. Although on paper we see he remained at the club for two seasons, Zlatan’s true form lasted only a year. During that first year in which he arrived, Zlatan finally won the only international title of his career. The UEFA Europa League was the only title of this nature he conquered despite showing us an outstanding career over the decades.

In that time, Zlatan came past his mid-thirties and still managed to score 29 goals with 10 assists in 55 matches played during his first season. Those are numbers that not even regular-aged strikers can deliver in a single season. But Zlatan was always a different type of baller and a true legend of the game. Today, he returns to Manchester in a similar setting but at AC Milan

Zlatan revived AC Milan this season.

Despite now pushing 40 years of age, Zlatan Ibrahimovic comes back to Manchester as AC Milan’s best player and a true menace for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad. But Milan needs to improve if they want to defeat the English giants. Right now, there’s a major level difference between both rosters and the Swedish legend knows this. Ibrahimovic remains as the only AC Milan player who can possibly do anything of substance against Manchester United in this knock-out stage.

Although fans won’t be back in the stands for these two matches, the whole Red Devil community will feel it when Ibra returns to their city. Despite only playing a full season there, he definitely left his mark that will be hard to forget. We know who the favorite for these two games will be but Zlatan can never be discarded.
