Balotelli ‘in talks’ for shock Barnsley move
Mario Balotelli is a free agent once more following Brescia’s relegation into Serie B last season. A return to England is possible – albeit in the Championship rather than the Premier League.
Barnsley, who sit 16th in the standings and just six points above the drop zone, have held talks with Balotelli. Although the striker, who is training with Serie D side Franciacorta, appears to have lost interest. [The Sun]
Chelsea set sights on Bellingham
Jude Bellingham turned down interest from Manchester United to join Borussia Dortmund in the summer and has made a decent start in the Bundesliga. A return to England, however, could already be on the cards.

Desperate Kepa seeks loan exit
Summer signing Edouard Mendy has thrived in goal and appears to have eased Chelsea’s defensive woes, leaving Kepa Arrizabalaga out in the cold.
The 26-year-old, who is the club’s transfer record signing alongside Kai Havertz, has made just three appearances this season. His lack of games has also caused him to slip down the pecking order for the Spanish national team.
Now Kepa is allegedly prepared to leave Stamford Bridge on loan in January and would be prepared to accept a pay cut on his £150,000-per-week salary. [The Sun].
