Adama Traore has been generating much interest as of late, but the Wolves boss is confident about his star man’s commitment to the team.

Wolves enjoyed a noteworthy 2019/20 season exceeding expectations in the league as well as in Europe, and one of the reasons for their accomplishments was Adama Traore.

The 24-year old netted six goals and registered 12 assists in total to help his side attain a seventh-placed Premier League finish and reach the quarter-finals of Europa League.

Luis Enrique was quick to reward the winger for his exploits, handing him a call-up to Spain‘s senior squad.

Traore did not show much potential in the early stages of his career but ever since arriving at the Molineux in 2018, he has improved significantly by fine-tuning his finishing ability and adding pace and power to his game.

This has seen admiring glances drawn from Barcelona, a team that deemed him, their very own La Masia graduate, surplus to requirements. Elsewhere, Liverpool have also reportedly shown interest in acquiring his services.

Wolves, however, do not intend to cash in on their prized asset and are even said to be preparing to tie him down on a new lucrative £100,000-a-week four-year deal.

“What I can say about this is Adama is delighted to be here. You can see how happy he’s been in training just by seeing us be together again,” Nuno Espirito Santo told reporters, via Goal.

“Things will happen naturally. Speculation around our players doesn’t bother us.

“We know what we have to do. First of all, you have to be happy where you are, and he clearly is.”
