Thomas Tuchel got involved in a furious bust-up with an RB Leipzig fitness coach after leading PSG to their first Champions League final.

Tuesday night was a historic one for Paris Saint-Germain as they overcame RB Leipzig 3-0 in the Champions League semi-finals, thanks to Marquinhos, Angel Di Maria and Juan Bernat goals.

The victory in Lisbon secured the Parisians a place in the competition’s final for the first time in history.

This historic moment, however, was somewhat overshadowed when Tuchel was caught on BT Sport cameras exchanging words with RB Leipzig fitness coach Daniel Behlau after the match.

The PSG boss broke off from celebrating the victory to wander back onto the pitch on his crutches to fire off some frank words to Behlau. An uncomfortable Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Thilo Kehrer, meanwhile, could only watch.

The German’s frustration came from the 24 fouls Leipzig made against his PSG squad. He even confronted the club’s coach Julian Nagelsmann over it during the second half, which was when Behlau intervened.

Tuchel allegedly responded to Behlau intervening between a one-on-one conversation between himself and Nagelsmann by shouting: ‘You f***ing p***y’.

While the words Tuchel uttered post-match were barely audible, the Daily Mail quoted him as saying: “Everything you shouted, it’s a shame you don’t admit it”.

Questioned on the incident in his post-match conference, Tuchel told reporters: “It was between me and Julian.

“That is okay between two head coaches but then a third person interfered. I didn’t like that but it has since been sorted out.”

Nagelsmann, on the other hand, conceded Tuchel was right to be upset by the many fouls committed by his Leipzig team.

“We fouled a lot, you can see that statistically,” admitted the Leipzig boss. “That wasn’t planned, we just often came too late into challenges.

“He complained because he wanted to protect his players. That’s all normal. I think we had 24 fouls at the end of the day so you can say something.”
