The Nigerian striker is considering legal action against Napoli over controversial posts on their TikTok account.
Victor Osimhen could reportedly leave Napoli in the January transfer window after his recent fallout with the club.
A video posted on the club’s official TikTok account triggered a response from Osimhen’s agent. The club were condemned for “mocking” the striker, with the agent also threatening legal action.
The situation has intensified speculations about Osimhen’s future amid interest from a number of clubs.
According to Daily Mail, Real Madrid could look to sign the Super Eagles striker this summer. The Blancos are struggling to maintain attacking consistency since the departure of Karim Benzema, while a move for Kylian Mbappe looks more and more unlikely.
Another possible destination for Osimhen is Saudi Arabia. The Saudi Pro League clubs are expected to be back in the market for more European talents this winter, with the 24-year-old already being among their targets.
Chelsea, who’ve been linked with a move for Osimhen before, might also look to sign a new striker this January.
However, the Blues’ ongoing attempt to reduce their wage bill could prevent them from adding another high-earner to their squad.
Osimhen, who’s valued around £150m by Napoli, has scored three goals in his five Serie A appearances this season.
