After weeks of uncertainty regarding Harry Kane’s future, Tottenham have welcomed their star striker back to group training.

Harry Kane has trained alongside his Tottenham teammates for the first time under new manager Nuno Espirito Santo.

After a failed £100 million bid from Manchester City in June, Kane’s future has been up in the air. The 28-year-old is at the center of intense speculation as questions continue to be raised about his future.

Reporting back to Spurs for pre-season five days later than originally planned this month fueled the rumors, although Kane has insisted his late return was ‘planned’.

According to Sky Sports, the England captain is indeed back in the fold. He stayed at the club’s training ground hotel, The Lodge, to serve a period in isolation after returning to the UK from a holiday in the Bahamas. This was the reason he wasn’t ready to face Manchester City in last Sunday’s Premier League opener.

But Kane did individual work on Monday and he went one better on Tuesday by attending a group training session. Should things continue to go to plan, he could face Pacos de Ferreira in Spurs’ Europa Conference League play-off tie on Thursday in Portugal.
