Despite taking charge of just two games, Gerrard is already in the mix for the Manager of the Month.

The former Rangers boss enjoyed a flying start to life as a Premier League coach by winning both of his first two games at Aston Villa. He won his debut 2-0 win against Brighton. He then followed that up with a 2-1 victory away to Crystal Palace, ending the Eagles’ unbeaten home record.

The Citizens boss is in the mix for a remarkable 10th Manager of the Month award in the Premier League.

It all looks good for Guardiola, having guided Manchester City to three consecutive wins in November. They first beat Manchester United 2-0 in a derby, before following it up with 3-0 and 2-1 wins over Everton and West Ham respectively.
