John Stones won a recall into the Manchester City line-up for Saturday’s 2-0 win over Fulham. It was his second consecutive start in the Premier League, easing fears over the defender’s long-term future.

Lingard prepared to leave Man United
Jesse Lingard hasn’t played a single minute of Premier League football this season. In fact, he has only made the bench twice out of 11 league fixtures and featured in two EFL Cup games.
Now it’s emerged the 27-year-old is prepared to hand in a transfer request to Manchester United. There are Premier League clubs reportedly interested in a January move, along with Scottish giants Celtic and Rangers. [Team Talk]

Balotelli to sign for Serie B club
Mario Balotelli is poised to sign a short-term contract with Serie B side AC Monza until the end of the season. The 30-year-old has been without a club since leaving Brescia last term following their relegation from Serie A.
