Barcelona to rival Chelsea & Bayern Munich for Ligue 1 star

The Catalan giants have thrown their hat in the ring in the transfer race for Marseille midfielder Boubacar Kamara.

The 22-year-old’s contract ends in the summer, making him available as a free agent. He can sign a pre-contract agreement to join a club outside of France’s Ligue 1 for next season now.

Manchester United renew Milinkovic-Savic pursuit

Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is back on Manchester United’s transfer radar.

The Red Devils could revive their interest in the 26-year-old Serbian as a potential replacement for Paul Pogba, whose contract at Old Trafford expires at the end of this season. [Calciomercato – in Italian]

Coutinho to join Aston Villa

 Aston Villa and Barcelona have confirmed a loan agreement for Philippe Coutinho to join the Premier League side.

 The Brazil international will spend the rest of this season on loan at Villa Park, subject to a medical and a work permit. The Villans have an option to buy him outright for around €40 million in the summer.

Real Madrid in talks with Kessie

AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie is in talks with Real Madrid over a free transfer to the Spanish club.

The 25-year-old Ivorian’s contract at AC Milan ends in the summer, making him available as a free agent. He can now sign a pre-contract agreement to join a club outside Italy’s Serie A.

Bale could retire from football in 2022

Gareth Bale could pull the curtain on his career if Wales fail to qualify for the 2022 World Cup.

The 32-year-old is in the final six months of his Real Madrid contract and isn’t in talks with the Spanish side about a renewal. His chances of joining another elite club are unlikely.
