Amid all the rumors linking him to Arsenal and FC Barcelona, we finally have a report from Antonio Conte’s immediate circle on his future.

Antonio Conte tends to leave his clubs on bad terms but that hasn’t prevented rumors linking him to Arsenal or FC Barcelona. Not even his renowned style of play is a matter of concern for any of these clubs when it comes to searching for his signature. Regardless of his personality, Antonio Conte is a natural-born winner and one of the best managers in the world. He has won Serie A titles with Juventus and Inter. Plus, he won the Premier League when he coached Chelsea as well.

Only the Spanish La Liga has resisted him so far but Barcelona could’ve been a logical option. However, the vast majority of the Blaugrana board members completely reject his possible arrival. Only a select few consider he could bring a positive spin to a club in decadence that urgently needs some silverware. Back in the British Isles, Arsenal isn’t going through a great moment under Mikel Arteta. Several news outlets from North London are talking about a possible return to London for the Italian manager. However, Conte doesn’t seem to care about any of these rumors linking him to either club.

Conte plans to return to Italy soon.

After leaving Inter Milan, Antonio Conte wanted some rest before making the decision to join his next club. Fabrizio Romano reports that Antonio is not even considering any of the two clubs mentioned in the rumors. His plans are directed at making a sensational return to the Italian Serie A when the time is right. Perhaps these clubs with an offensive tradition still don’t get that Conte doesn’t like to coach clubs that don’t agree with him.

Due to his controlling personality, choosing an ideal football club is becoming an increasing issue for Conte. Juventus was a place where he could make all the decisions himself without getting micro-managed by the board. Barcelona or Arsenal are clubs that will definitely attempt to keep a close eye on their manager and Conte doesn’t like this idea.
