Real Madrid star wants to win his fifth Champions League trophy

During a German podcast, one of Real Madrid’s biggest stars reminded everyone that he wants to win his fifth Champions League trophy.

Several Real Madrid players have already won four Champions League titles each, one of them is after the fifth. After winning his first title at Bayern Munich in 2013, Toni Kroos still remained in Germany for one more season. During that year, Los Blancos won the title under Carlo Ancelotti but the German midfielder still hadn’t signed a contract with the Spanish giants.

After he came to Madrid, he was part of the historic squad that won three consecutive continental trophies. Although many Real Madrid players were part of the 2014 victory and Toni wasn’t, the German international also has four in his cabinet. Exactly as many of his teammates do, he is trying to win his fifth champion’s medal. That unique feeling of becoming European champion with your club must be quite unique.

Kroos will stay at Real Madrid until he wins again.

Knowing how great that feeling is, Toni Kroos obviously wants to keep winning for as long as he can. However, doing that will be incredibly difficult if Los Blancos don’t have a world-class player like Cristiano Ronaldo. Kroos’ skills won’t be enough to win against the biggest clubs in the continent, especially the ones from England. This is what Kroos said on the TOMorrow Podcast: “When you have felt what it feels like to win a Champions League, you want to feel it again and again.

“You may not be able to do it for a few years, since others also want to see what it is like, but that desire to re-live the experience doesn’t go away. Despite having won it four times already, I continue to pursue the objective of winning the Champions League for the fifth time. It will be difficult and, if in the end it is doesn’t work out, then they won’t shoot me either. Of course, while I’m still active I want to squeeze the most out of the time I have left.”
