The Blancos are eager to restart their efforts to sign Mbappe next summer.
Real Madrid are reportedly preparing for January negotiations with Kylian Mbappe over a possible free move next summer.
Mbappe came close to joining Real Madrid in 2022 but ended up signing a new contract at PSG. The club expected the 24-year-old to activate his one-year option to stay at Parc des Princes until 2025. But, as of now, he has yet to renew his current contract, which expires next summer.
According to Relevo journalist Matteo Moretto, Real Madrid have decided to renew their efforts to sign Mbappe in 2024. However, the club are insisting on a quick solution as they want to avoid another lengthy saga. The Blancos are reportedly ready to move on to other targets if a quick agreement with the Frenchman is not reached quickly.
In early November, a report from AS claimed that Mbappe had given up around €100 million in loyalty bonuses to secure a free move to Santiago Bernabeu at the end of the season.
Real Madrid quickly denied having any negotiations with Mbappe in a surprise statement. However, the Spanish giants are free to open talks with the World Cup winner after he enters the final six months of his current PSG deal this winter.
