Ian Wright, Paul Merson, and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink have offered their predictions on the Premier League top-four race.

Manchester City, Liverpool, and Chelsea are clear of the chasing pack, leaving only one Champions League spot left for next season.

Five clubs are arguably in the mix for fourth. Tottenham, Arsenal, and Manchester United are the strongest contenders. However, West Ham and Wolves are still in – albeit with an outside chance.

So, out of these teams, which one is the favorite for fourth?

Arsenal legend Ian Wright, ex-Gunners midfielder Paul Merson, and former Chelsea striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink offered their views during their punditry roles on Wednesday.

Ian Wright – Tottenham

The Arsenal legend is encouraged by his old club’s 4-2 win at Chelsea on Wednesday. He does, though, think Tottenham’s remaining fixtures are just a little easier.

“You look at Spurs’ run-in and you’d probably fancy that,” said Wright on Premier League Productions.

“But you look at Arsenal today and what should give them a lot of impetuses to keep going forward, especially with a Man United team that you don’t mind playing.

“But what they did today and when they’re able to take those half chances and keep building on it and keep going, even when they do get pegged back, [means they can] go into any of those games believing that they can win them.

“You have to, because at this stage of the season, if you don’t then you probably won’t. Nobody fancied Arsenal to beat Chelsea tonight and they went there and beat them so they should take a lot from that.”

Paul Merson – Arsenal

Merson is backing his former club to get the job done ahead of Tottenham and Manchester United.

“I think advantage Arsenal, I really do. I don’t think Tottenham [will] beat Brentford away. Brentford are flying, absolutely flying at the moment. I think Arsenal’s a hard game,” said Merson on Sky Sports.

“I know Man United have been terrible, but who doesn’t want to turn up at the Emirates and play football on that pitch. They’ve got no pressure Man United, the first game they’ve probably ever played as a club of Man United’s magnitude, where no one expects anything, like nothing. You can just go out and get beat and no one could care less. I think it’s a dangerous game. It’s about timings now.”

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink – Tottenham

Hasselbaink, however, thinks Antonio Conte and Harry Kane will make the difference for Tottenham.

“I think it’s going to be very close. Before the match tonight I was more with Spurs because of their firepower and Arsenal had difficulties scoring,” the Dutchman said on Sky Sports.

“I still am with Spurs. Yes, the north London derby is going to be a big, big match, but I just think Spurs have Kane and Conte. They know how to win games.”
