During an interview while on international duty, a Premier League revealed he thinks he can beat Usain Bolt in a 100-meter race.

Usain Bolt is the fastest man in history, yet a Premier League star is convinced he would like to race the Jamaican star. It’s not as if we didn’t see that happening, but Usain Bolt deserves a little more respect. We are talking about Wolverhampton Wanderers’ forward, Adama Traore.

Only by looking at his fitness, you can tell this guy does all the work in order to remain fit. We could get a good look at his level of performance during the few minutes he played against Portugal this week. However, Traore is starting to get too confident with his fitness and he revealed that he would like to challenge the king.

This happened during a press conference while on duty with Spain. Journalists asked him all kinds of questions about his fitness as nobody believes he doesn’t lift weights.

Adama doesn’t mind people talking about his physique.

After repeating that he doesn’t care about people talking about his physique, Adama was asked about his 100-meter dash timing. This is where the Wolves’ star stepped over the line and issued a challenge to Bolt. We doubt the Jamaican legend would entertain this idea but it would be great if he accepted to race, just for kicks.

Traore said on Cadena SER: “I still don’t have a 100-meter record, but I will do it someday and I will lift weights just to see where I can take my physique. But until then, I have to keep a steady routine in order to compete at my best inside the pitch.

“People have given me some numbers before. I would like to see my self inside a track with Usain Bolt by my side and ask him to teach me. A race track is not the same compared to a football pitch.”
