Amid reported interest from three Premier League clubs, Jules Kounde has opened up on his Sevilla future.
Jules Kounde has admitted he may leave Sevilla this summer amid reports of interest from Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United.
The 22-year-old had another fine campaign in the Sevilla defense, helping the club seal back-to-back top-four finishes in La Liga. He only missed four league games over the course of the season.
His performances have kept interested clubs on red alert, with a rumored €70 million price tag set for the summer transfer window.
“I may have to change clubs this summer. I have not decided anything,” said Kounde as per Goal.
“My goal is, one day, to evolve into a great club to always try to progress, win trophies. To be able to start the season each year by telling yourself that the goal is win a particular trophy.
“I might have to move, but that’s not relevant today.”
Real Madrid were reportedly linked with Kounde. The club’s interest, however, could be lowered now that David Alaba has officially joined from Bayern Munich. But that may change if either Sergio Ramos or Raphael Varane leave in the summer.
Manchester City were also keen on signing Kounde in the previous summer transfer window.
