The England captain has been scoring for fun as of late and he continued his red hot form in Sunday’s north London derby.

Tottenham jumped back to the top of the Premier League standings following a 2-0 victory over Arsenal.

Harry Kane was one of the contributors to the Gunners’ demise as he doubled his side’s lead just before the half-time break by sending a sublime strike in and off the underside of the crossbar.

It marked the 11th goal of his career against Spurs’ bitter rivals Arsenal, and the striker is now the outright top scorer in North London derbies in all competitions overtaking Emmanuel Adebayor and Bobby Smith (10).

The fine goal at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium also marked his 100th goal for the club on home soil across all competitions.

Kane’s powerful drive also marked his 250th career goal. 202 of those have come for his current side, 32 in an England shirt, nine for Millwall, five for Leyton, and two during his stint at Leicester City.

He also had a hand in his side’s opening goal against Arsenal as he played the ball to Son Heung-min who then curled an effort in the top right corner.

With 10 assists now in his first 11 league games, the 27-year-old forward, alongside Mesut Ozil, is the fastest player to reach that tally from the start of a campaign in the competition.
