Spurs’ both star attackers were on target as Jose Mourinho’s high flying side recaptured their lead at the top of the league table.

It was a classic Jose Mourinho performance by the winning side in Sunday’s north London derby.

Tottenham sat back for the most parts comfortably absorbing pressure from Arsenal, put on a display of defensive steel, and scored twice – both on the break.

Son Heung-min the deadlock for the hosts. He sprinted down the left flank upon being freed up by Harry Kane before sending a brilliant effort goalwards and into the top right corner from 30 yards.

The roles for the second goal as Son returned Kane’s favor by setting him up. Yet another quick counter-attack as the South Korean runs into the opposition defence before playing Kane through on goal, and the captain just lashes the ball in.

Jose Mourinho, who has now won 40 London derbies, becomes only the 2nd manager in the club’s history to win his first 2 matches against Arsenal.
