Memphis Depay continues to remain uncertain about his future despite being aware that he is a transfer target for Barcelona.

FC Barcelona new boss Ronald Koeman is said to be looking to bolster his attacking options after deeming Luis Suarez surplus to his requirements.

Rumor has it that Olympique Lyon’s Memphis Depay has emerged as a top target for Koeman.

A few reports even claim that the Catalans are close to securing the signature of Depay, whose contract expires next summer, in a transfer worth around €25 million.

Lyon Sporting director Juninho earlier mentioned the 26-year old while naming three players who could exit the Groupama Stadium this summer, which only added fuel to his Barca rumors.

The Dutch attacker himself opened the door for his departure following Lyon’s Champions League defeat last month.

Without giving out too many details, Depay has now confirmed that there is indeed truth to rumors linking him to Camp Nou.

“We just have to see what will happen. I’ll report to [Lyon] tomorrow and we’ll see what happens,” he told after Netherlands’ defeat to Italy in the Nations League on Monday, speaking to NOS.

“I haven’t heard much more from my agent. I know that there is interest, but I don’t have much more to say because I don’t know much about it.”
