Bayern Munich extended their positive run in the Bundesliga after beating a struggling Hertha Berlin by 1-0. Although the current champions looked comfortable for the majority of the game, they didn’t display a great performance. Nevertheless, the Bavarians opened the score in the first half with a bit of luck in the mix.

Nevertheless, Hertha Berlin’s performance improved quite a bit after Guendouzi and Radonjic were subbed in. In fact, the Berliners’ new signing even put the ball in the net. However, it ended up being disallowed for an offside. Moreover, Hertha could’ve equalized the match just before the 90th minute. Matheus Cunha ran without opposition towards Neuer and clipped the ball over the goalkeeper but it ended up being a bit too wide.
Bayern Munich now sit comfortably in the Bundesliga’s top spot with a 10 point lead over RB Leipzig. On the other hand, Hertha’s fourth loss in a row can make them fall to a relegation spot very soon.
