The Frenchman is finally enjoying his time at Camp Nou after supposedly being unsettled for a long time following his big-money move.

Antoine Griezmann insists he feels “honored” to play at FC Barcelona as he explains his playing style.

Griezmann is enjoying a productive season, scoring 18 goals and registering 11 assists in 45 appearances across all competitions.

The forward was linked with a move away from the club amid poor form earlier in the season but has gone on to nail a starting berth since then.

“I try to get in between the centre-backs, get into space, make space for my teammates…” Griezmann said.

“It’s not my natural position, but it’s an honour to be at Barcelona, with these teammates and doing my best, sometimes with goals and other times with assists.”

The latest of Griezmann’s goals came in La Liga against Villarreal as he hit a brace to guide Barcelona to a 1-2 victory on Sunday.

“We all want to win LaLiga,” the French forward said. “There are four teams that are fighting and trying to win all our games. It won’t be easy, but we have the team to do it.

“[The title favourites] are always the ones who are top of the table. Atletico are having an incredible season and we’re doing our best to be champions.

“We have it in our hands. We just have to win all our games.”
