A double from Griezmann was enough for the Catalan giants to come back with all three points from their trip to La Ceramica.
FC Barcelona continued their push for the La Liga title by seeing off Villlarreal 2-1 away from home.
Villarreal drew first blood when Samuel Chukwueze collected Pau Torres’ defense-splitting pass and put the ball past Marc Andre ter Stegen from a tight angle.
But it did not take Barcelona to reply as Antoinne Griezmann, with a lovely dink over the goalkeeper, put his side on level terms just two minutes later.
At the 35-minute mark, the French forward put the Catalan giants on the lead which they managed to hold on to until the referee blew the final whistle.
The victory sees Barcelona go level on points with bitter-rivals Real Madrid, who have played a game more.
