Arsenal eye January move for Bundesliga defender

The Gunners could make a bid for Eintracht Frankfurt defender Evan Ndicka in the January transfer window.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta wants a left-footed center-back to compete with Gabriel. He feels Ndicka could be the right man for the job. The 23-year-old Frenchman was a key cog in Eintracht’s run to Europa League glory last season. His performances have also caught Tottenham’s interest.

Man Utd could release Ronaldo

Manchester United might consider releasing Cristiano Ronaldo from his contract in the January transfer window.

Manager Erik ten Hag has suspended Ronaldo from all first-team activities after the forward reportedly refused to come on as an 87th-minute substitute in Wednesday’s 2-0 win over Tottenham, and later left before the final whistle.

The club board has backed Ten Hag and, therefore, is ready to part ways with Ronaldo. If the player’s representatives can’t find a new team in January, United could terminate his contract. [iNews]
