On social media, the 42-year-old goalkeeper joked around with Ronaldo. “You could have spared me a couple of goals,” said Buffon.
Moreover, the Juventus legend decided to award his teammate with a new clever nickname related to the record that was broken.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Gigi Buffon have been teammates at Juventus for two seasons. The goalkeeper returned to his original home after a short spell at Paris Saint-Germain. In fact, Buffon mentioned in the past that Ronaldo was one of the reasons why he decided to rejoin the Bianconeri.
