Arsenal star striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was spotted taking some tablets during the Premier League clash against Leicester City.

Aubameyang headlined Arsenal’s attack in the Sunday evening Premier League showdown against Leicester.

Despite struggling for form at the beginning of the season, the 31-year-old was chosen by Mikel Arteta to spearhead the Gunners line against the Foxes.

However, the captain sent a worrying message to the Arsenal supporters after being caught taking some pills early in the first half [via Daily Star].

Concerned with the physical condition of their hero, many fans took to Twitter to express their fears.

One such fan wrote: “Aubameyang needs rest. His output has also significantly reduced. He might be playing through an injury.”

Another one added: “Aubameyang taking tablets for something… that’s a concern.”

The game at the Emirates is well underway, with the lightning-quick forward still on the pitch, though no team is yet to break the deadlock.

The nature of the Gabonese’s need for medications remains a secret for the time being.

However, if anyone can decide the encounter in London, it’s the African superstar.
