The Gunners stormed to a rampant victory away to Norwich City, extending their winning run to five games in all competitions.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has said Bukayo Saka is improving after the winger’s starring role against Norwich.

The 20-year-old bagged a brace during Sunday’s emphatic 5-0 win over Norwich. He broke the deadlock at Carrow Road by finishing off a slick Arsenal attack, before adding a fine solo effort to his haul in the second half.

Saka has now made five goal contributions in Arsenal’s last four Premier League games, scoring three goals and adding two assists.

“To play in those positions for a big club like us, you need to be producing goals and assists every single game, it’s what we demand from him and he has the capacity to do it and he’s doing it better and better,” Arteta told reporters after the final whistle.

“Every single player is important, the senior players are performing and giving a lot of stability and direction to the young players and it’s the right mix.”

What next for Arsenal?

Kieran Tierney, Alexandre Lacazette, and Emile Smith Rowe were also on target for Arsenal at Norwich.

As a result, Arteta’s men remain fourth in the Premier League table on 35 points from 19 games. They have a six-point advantage over fifth-placed Tottenham, who have three games in hand.

Arsenal return to action next Saturday at home to league leaders Manchester City after Tuesday’s trip to Wolves was postponed because of more positive COVID-19 cases.
