Arsenal dismantled the Canaries as they displayed yet another brilliant attacking performance.

Arsenal defeated Norwich City with a 5-0 result in their Premier League game on Sunday. The Gunners continued their impressive run of form while Norwich suffered another heavy defeat.

Arsenal is on FIRE 🔥

Arsenal came into the game on the back of their 5-1 win over Sunderland in the Carabao Cup. The Gunners are enjoying great form and they made sure to show that early on.

Arsenal took complete control of the game from the first minute. Following a few half-chances, Bukayo Saka opened the scoring in the sixth minute. The Gunners missed several chances to extend their lead throughout the first period. However, Kieran Tierney finally scored the second goal just before the interval.

Just like almost all of their recent games, Arsenal remained hungry for more goals despite being ahead. Bukayo Saka completed his brace in the 67th minute before Alexander Lacazette made it 4-0 by converting a penalty.

Arsenal kept on attacking in the final ten minutes, with Norwich wishing the game had ended sooner. Following Pepe’s shot from a few yards out, Emil Smith-Rowe scored again as a substitute to wrap up the scoring.

Arsenal will now wait for the result of Chelsea’s match vs Aston Villa. The Gunners can close the gap with the Blues to three points if Villa manage to beat Chelsea. Next up for the Gunners is a home game against Wolves on Tuesday.

On the other hand, Norwich suffered their fourth consecutive defeat as they remain at the rock bottom of the standings. The Canaries will meet Crystal Palace in their next match.
