The Gabonese forward has missed the club’s last two Premier League matches and was stripped of the captain’s armband this week.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is not available for Saturday’s trip to Leeds United.
The 32-year-old lost the club’s captaincy this week over a disciplinary breach. Various reports have stated the decision was related to a late return from visiting his ill mother in France.
Aubameyang has since missed Arsenal’s last two matches West Ham and Southampton, and he is now set be absent again at Elland Road this weekend.
“For this game, he is not available for selection,” said Arteta in a pre-match conference on Friday morning.
🗣 "The decision wasn't made by one person."

Since removing Aubameyang as captain, Arteta has turned to a ‘leadership group’ – that includes Alexandre Lacazette and Granit Xhaka – to wear the armband.
The Gunners boss also revealed he hasn’t held talks with the club board about a new contract. His current deal runs until June 2023.
