German club RB Leipzig has reportedly been successful in signing one of the hottest European young talents of the moment.
It is a good time to be a Leipzig fan. The 11-year-old football club recently qualified for the Champions League Round of 16 and is only one point away from securing Bundesliga’s leadership. As if that wasn’t enough, the German side is very close to officiating a major deal with sister club Red Bull Salzburg.
We are talking about Arsenal’s transfer target Dominik Szoboszlai, who has been in excellent form at the Austrian club. The Hungarian wonderkid netted the goal eight times on 20 occasions this season. Arsenal viewed the attacking midfielder as the solution for their squad’s creative issues.
However, sports journalist Fabrizio Romano announced that Szoboszlai’s move to RB Leipzig will be announced tomorrow after the medical exams are completed. Szoboszlai reportedly chose the Bundesliga team because of their manager. The 20-year-old believes Nagelsmann will be perfect for his development.
Obviously, the news comes as a huge blow for the Gunners. Nonetheless, the club will most likely focus on chasing Lyon playmaker Houssem Aouar. Arsenal failed to sign the 22-year-old this summer and moved on to Thomas Partley instead.
