Spurs got a very pleasant surprise on Wednesday, they just got confirmation that their new transfer is back in training with Mourinho.
The Spurs got several new transfers this summer ahead of a brand new season under Jose Mourinho. This will be the Portuguese manager’s first full season with the North London club. He also finally got to pick his own players. Out of all the transfers he decided to make, Gareth Bale has to be the one with the highest-profile.
The Welsh winger came to Real Madrid on a loan after a turbulent last couple of years but he arrived with an injury. Another muscular problem that kept him away from the game for nearly a month. Today, the forward finally stepped on the training pitch under Mourinho’s watchful eye. He just started a new chapter at Tottenham Hotspur.
The first images started coming through the Spurs’ social media accounts and the fans couldn’t help but feel excited over the news. It is expected that Gareth Bale can return to activity right after the international break.
Gareth Bale’s debut for Tottenham.
Going forward, Gareth Bale has eleven days to get fit enough to make his Premier League debut this season at Tottenham. The forward was spotted smiling during practice next to Jose Mourinho and he did touch the ball for a few moments. There’s a London derby against West Ham United on October 18 after the international break.
This is the possible return date that Bale has planned to reach. We do have to say, this is a very different sight to the one we had on a daily basis at Real Madrid. If Mourinho is careful with his return, he might just recover the Welshman’s best version. Should that happen, the Spurs will get a major reinforcement to a squad that already seems incredibly competitive this season.
All of a sudden, destiny seems to smile back at Mourinho once again. With Gareth Bale’s return to form, he will have one of Europe’s most feared attacking trios with Son and Kane upfront.
