Julen Lopetegui in awe of Inter Milan and Antonio Conte

Sevilla are underdogs against Inter Milan with Julen Lopetegui impressed with the work done by Antonio Conte at the San Siro.

Inter Milan eased past Shakhtar Donestk while Sevilla thwarted Manchester United’s repeated attempts. The Europa League final will be an enticing affair with mouth-watering action on offer.

Antonio Conte has implored his players to focus on the pitch and deliver continental honors for the club. Dressing room leader, Diego Godin has also chimed in and cited his experience.

Despite all this, the Nerazzurri have been equivocal in their praise of Sevilla. Julen Lopetegui reciprocated the respect shown to his side and hailed Inter’s quality as a team.

The former Real Madrid manager also took out time to praise his opposite number.

“Inter are a very complete team, like all of Antonio Conte’s teams,” Football Italia quoted Lopetegui at a press conference. “They have a lot of capabilities in attack and they can keep it tight at the back, giving away few chances.

“We will go into it as we always do, aiming to be solid and supportive.

“We’ll go into the match with humility and respect. We are aware that every detail is important. We must be focused, be able to understand the game.”
