Diego Godin believes whoever has more heart will take the Europa League home as Inter Milan and Sevilla batter it out for European honors.

Inter Milan easily dispatched off Shakhtar Donestk to make it to the Europa League final. They face off against La Liga dark horses Sevilla for continental honors.

It will not be an easy task but the rejuvenated Nerazzurri have eyes on the prize. Diego Godin has played in finals and led Atletico Madrid to La Liga glory.

The Uruguay international wants to cap off the 2019/20 season with silverware and write history with the club. He believes their determination will impact the final result and Inter should do everything on the pitch to ensure that.

“I don’t recommend anything, I work and I try to do everything I can,” Football Italia quoted Godin at a press conference. “We all want the same thing: to win.

“To do this, we must follow the preparation and play with the heart. The Finals are played like this, even with the heart.

“Whoever win, writes history, we must take to the pitch to do that.”

Inter Milan are favorites for the title but counting off Sevilla in the competition will be a folly. They have won the competition five times and can add a sixth title to their ranks.
