After Ronald Koeman’s accusations about Real Madrid’s referee help, Zinedine Zidane wanted to respond ahead of tomorrow’s La Liga match.

The referees have always been a controversial topic for Zidane’s Real Madrid and he is not having any of the backlashes. Just last Monday, Barcelona’s Ronald Koeman decided to come after Los Blancos by pointing out help from the refs to them. It’s the same story over and over again with Real Madrid. However, the reality speaks volumes of the powerful clubs getting help all the time.

Not only the giants from the capital but Barcelona and Atletico Madrid as well. This is why we can understand Zidane’s anger when asked about Koeman’s words. He simply doesn’t think complaining about this is at all helpful for the big clubs. In fact, he flat out-snapped back at Koeman today over this controversial topic.

Zidane doesn’t like to complain about referees.

During today’s press conference ahead of Real Madrid’s game against Granada, Zidane said the following through AS: “I’m annoyed because I never talk about the referees. They are part of the game and they can also make mistakes. Like the players or anybody else. Here and in life. It’s difficult labor, very complicated.

“I won’t even get into what Koeman said. We have a very important game tomorrow and that’s all we think about. This is what Real Madrid has, but I try to not pay attention to it. It’s a little annoying to answer this but we really do only care about tomorrow’s game.”
