Zinedine Zidane decided he would be the one to speak up against La Liga after the decision to force Real Madrid and Osasuna to play in the snow.

Zinedine Zidane had to pose as the villain tonight after Real Madrid’s draw against Osasuna, a game that should’ve been postponed due to the snow. All of Spain is currently going through a difficult weather condition that is making various parts of the country difficult to inhabit. Real Madrid thought La Liga was going to postpone the match from the very beginning but Javier Tebas refused to do so.

He forced them to take a flight to Pamplona and you already know how that went. After they managed to land, it was time to prepare a football match under heavy snowfall. As a result, we saw a terrible game that nobody enjoyed and kept both managers at the edge of their seats. Getting injured under these conditions is very easy.

Zidane was fuming after the match.

Given that Osasuna got a great result, they obviously weren’t going to complain. Zidane, however, decided to speak up against La Liga. In fact, the French manager was visibly angry at the way everything was handled.

This is what Zidane said through Marca: “We didn’t take it well. Everybody did what they could inside the pitch. It wasn’t a football match. This is the feeling we have after what happened over the last two days. Nobody knows when we are even returning to Madrid.

“I repeat, this wasn’t a football match. It clearly needed to be postponed. But it’s in the past now. Today, we don’t know what we are going to do. I’m complaining about the football match. The conditions weren’t optimal to play. I know I’m repeating myself but that’s how it is. Today was the day to speak up about these things.”
