Back-to-Back unpleasant results have put Zinedine Zidane’s position under threat, but the manager pays little attention to speculations.

Real Madrid were put to the sword at the very beginning of their European journey as they got beat 3-2 at the hands of Shakhtar Donetsk.

It was a horrific performance as their defense, in the absence of captain Sergio Ramos, looked completely unstable and midfield rather unbalanced.

Prior to the Champions League opener upset, Los Blancos had suffered another loss against newly-promoted Cadiz.

Back-to-back defeats at their temporary home have fueled rumors that any further damage could see Zinedine Zidane relieved of his duties by president Florentino Perez.

Zidane, who has an excelled track record of delivering success having brought three Champions League titles in succession as well as two La Liga trophies at Santiago Bernabeu, however, is not too concerned.

“It’s what people say, I can’t deny that,” the Frenchman replied when asked if the team were playing for his future during the pre-match press conference ahead of El Clasico.

“But what changes? Nothing. Last year it was the same, in my first spell, it was the same. What I have to do is my job, give 100%, give everything I have.

“I feel the support of everyone, but now we need to change things. We’ve had two complicated games.”
