The Nigerian striker’s agent has revealed how moves to the Premier League giants failed to materialize.

The agent of Emmanuel Dennis, Drew Uyi, says Club Brugge’s asking price for the striker deterred interest from Arsenal and Manchester United.

The 24-year-old has taken life in the Premier League by storm, managing six goals and five assists in only 14 appearances for Watford following his €4 million summer arrival from Club Brugge.

His impressive start has made him a nominee for the league’s November Player of the Month, as well as the winner for Watford’s most recent Player and Goal of the Month awards.

However, speaking on YouTube’s The Football Show, Dennis’ agent revealed how the Nigerian could’ve ended up at the Emirates or Old Trafford instead of Vicarage Road.

“Arsenal were interested [in signing Emmanuel Dennis] in the past, Manchester United were also interested, but for Club Brugge ridiculous fee on him,” said Uyi as quoted by CompleteSports.

“He was frustrated at Club Brugge, he was not happy because no young man would be if he were stopped from such opportunities [Manchester United and Arsenal].”

Dennis returns to action on Friday night as Watford pay Brentford a visit in the Premier League.
