The highly-rated defender’s agent has shared the player’s excitement over his big-money move to the Emirates.

Ben White “had to pinch himself with the Arsenal move”, says the player’s agent Alex Levack while backing his client to “show everybody what he’s about” at his new club.

White completed a £50 million transfer from Brighton to Arsenal on the last day of July, becoming the north London side’s third signing of this summer after Nuno Tavares and Albert Sambi Lokonga.

The 23-year-old center-back had a bright start to his new life as he impressed in his debut against Chelsea, earning plaudits from manager Mikel Arteta as well as the fans.

There has been a real buzz among the Gunners faithful in the wake of the big-money move, with many expecting the England international to be a mainstay in the team’s backline for years to come.

“Ben’s delighted – I think he’s had to pinch himself with the Arsenal move and the England call up,” White’s agent revealed to Sky Sports.

“It’s all fully deserved for the fantastic footballer, the amazing attitude, and the family support network around him.

“I think this is now a fantastic foundation for him to kick on and show everybody what he’s about.”
