Werner may not be scoring the number of goals expected of him, but the German has still made an impressive impact.
Timo Werner has become the first Chelsea player to register double figures in terms of goals and assists in his debut campaign since Eden Hazard.
The former RB Leipzig star set up Kai Havertz’s second goal of the match to help Chelsea claim a 2-0 win over Fulham in Saturday’s west London derby.
As per the Premier League’s official website, Werner has supplied seven assists in the English top-flight since his €53 million arrival last year. He’s also managed two Champions League assists and one assist in the FA Cup.

So with 11 goals and 10 assists in 46 appearances across all competitions, Werner has reached double figures in his debut Blues campaign.
Hazard was the last Chelsea player to achieve this feat. The Belgian managed 13 goals and 24 assists in 62 matches across all competitions after joining the club from Lille for the 2012/13 season.
Werner and Hazard will meet each other at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday for the second leg of the Champions League semi-final tie between Chelsea and Real Madrid.
The two clubs are tied at 1-1 on aggregate following a first-leg draw in Spain last week.
