Harry Kane has hailed his partnership with Heung-min Son and says there is more to come from their blossoming partnership at the moment.
Harry Kane has praised his partnership with Heung-min Son and says the pair are still getting to understand each other better after yet another impressive outing against Arsenal.
The England captain laid on the opening goal for Son, his eighth assist for the South Korean this season. Not long after, the South Korean returned the favor on the break as the Spurs talisman scored his 250th career goal for club and country.
Kane has reveled in a new role under Jose Mourinho; dropping deep and playing Son through time and again. Their partnership has been devastating and the Spurs striker says the two are at their peak together.
“We’re just feeling good,” Kane said as quoted by Evening Standard.
“We’re both at an age now where we’re coming into maybe in our prime in terms of understanding the game and understanding each other.
“When I’m passing him through and he’s cutting inside and whipping them into the top bins it is an easy game for me.
“Delighted with the result, boys dug deep and defended from crosses. Fantastic.”
Kane added: “It is nice, great assist from Sonny and it was nice to see it go in. The most important thing is the three points.”
