Benfica striker Darwin Nunez has stirred transfer interest from the likes of Manchester United and Atletico Madrid.
In 35 appearances across all competitions this season, Nunez has scored 28 goals. The 22-year-old Uruguayan is six goals clear at the top of the scoring charts in Portugal. Watford defender William Troost-Ekong could join LA Galaxy on a loan deal.

Former Arsenal midfielder Kelechi Nwakali is a free agent after Huesca ended his contract on Tuesday.

McClaren could be Ten Hag’s No. 2 at Manchester United
Former England manager Steve McClaren is under consideration to become Erik ten Hag’s No.2 at Old Trafford.
Ten Hag is under consideration for the Manchester United manager’s job. The Ajax boss previously worked as an assistant for McClaren during the Englishman’s spell in charge of Twente in 2008/09.
McClaren also served as an assistant between 1999 and 2001 under Sir Alex Ferguson. United claimed the treble at the end of his first season there. [Guardian]
