Arsenal to face competition for Aouar

Arsenal remain strongly interested in Lyon playmaker Houssem Aouar. The French side are open to selling the 22-year-old this summer. But it must be for a considerable amount somewhere in the range of €60m. So far, Arsenal have not been able to meet that. It doesn’t get better for the Gunners as they could now face fierce competition from an unnamed side in the Champions League. Newcastle interested in Milik transfer

The Magpies are interested in Napoli forward  Arkadiusz Milik. The 26-year-old is in the final year of his contract. The Partenopei are happy to sell him now rather than lose him for free next summer. The likes of Juventus and Tottenham initially showed interest in the Polish forward. Lingard to stay put at Manchester United

Despite being linked with a move to Tottenham, Jesse Lingard is expected to stay put at Old Trafford. The United academy graduate is in the final year of his contract and could be sold to raise funds for transfers. However, United will now consider giving him a one-year extension to protect his £25m valuation. (Athletic – via Twitter)

Rudiger to consider Chelsea exit

Antonio Rudiger will have to consider his future at Chelsea after he was left out of their match-day squad. The 27-year-old did not feature against Brighton and didn’t make the squad more recently against Liverpool. The German international needs game-time to secure himself a spot in the next European Championship. If he isn’t assured an ample amount of minutes on the pitch, he could consider an exit.  (Sky Sports)

Dortmund reiterate Sancho transfer stance

Borussia Dortmund once again remain adamant Jadon Sancho will not be leaving the club this summer. The forward has attracted strong interest from Manchester United over the past few months. But both clubs have failed to agree on a common ground regarding a transfer fee. On more than one occasion, the Bundesliga have maintained the Englishman will stay put at the Signal Iduna Park.
