Theo Walcott is of the opinion that his former Arsenal teammate Aaron Ramsey should make his way back to the Premier League.
Theo Walcott thinks that Aaron Ramsey would love to return to Arsenal with speculations that Juventus does not require him anymore.
The Serie A club got hold of the midfielder for free in 2019. Before his departure, Ramsey spent spectacular 11 years with the Gunners.
However, the Wales international struggled to find the same rhythm in Turin after he left the Premier League. Ramsey has just made five appearances for Bianconeri this season.
And now, rumours suggest that Juventus are planning to offload him during the forthcoming transfer window.
Walcott and Ramsey were teammates for ten years, and the Southampton winger believes that now would be a good time for his former colleague to come back to Emirates Stadium.
“I’ll find out, give him a call and pester him (on if he’s returning to the Premier League),” Walcott told talkSPORT.
“It would be lovely for him to come back. I feel like he would want to. Some part of me in my head is thinking he wants to come back to Arsenal.”
“It’s one of those things, he’s at Juventus. He played very well for Wales last night. A lot of people have been on his back in Italy and I haven’t seen enough of it.”
“But he’s a leader. He’s a workhorse. Still playing for his country and has all these caps. It would be great for him to come back to the Premier League.”
