It’s only a matter of time before Aaron Ramsey makes a return to Arsenal, ex-Gunner Robert Pires claims.

Robert Pires is certain Aaron Ramsey will return to the Emirates at some point in the future.

After 11 years at the club, the Gunners parted ways with the Welshman who left as a free agent in the summer of 2019.

Arsenal were not willing to offer Ramsey a contract renewal and Juventus took the opportunity to snap up the midfielder. For his time at the club, he grew to be a fan favorite and is still held in high regard by many of the club’s supporters.

The 30-year-old has seen tough competition for spots in Turin but has been part of squads that won the Serie A and the Supercoppa.

He is on contract with the Bianconeri until 2023, and Robert Pires can see the Welshman moving back to north London for another stint.

The former Gunners winger told TuttoJuve: “He is very intelligent and knows how to adapt everywhere, Juve is a very big club and Serie A is improving him even more.”

“He needs to stay a few more years and then he will return to Arsenal.”

“It is my belief, I am not a fortune teller.”

Pires also claimed Ramsey would fit in well under Mikel Arteta.

“Aaron would be perfect in Mikel Arteta’s game system, but he belongs to Juve and he has to stay focused on the Old Lady to win trophies.”

“This year he has already won one, I hope it’s just the first in a long line.”
