It happened during the France vs Ukraine international friendly, one of Real Madrid’s targets broke an all-time international record.

Real Madrid has a proper young player as a target who just broke an all-time record during the international friendly between France and Ukraine. Zinedine Zidane’s mouth must be watering at the prospect who just made his debut inside a starting eleven with the French national team.

We are obviously talking about Eduardo Camavinga, the Rennes’ kid who is making an impact we can already compare to Kylian Mbappe’s irruption. Today, the young forward started for the first time with France and made an immediate impression. It took him only nine minutes to score his debut goal with Les Bleus with an outrageous finish.

A bicycle kick goal that reminds us of a Ronaldinho effort against Villarreal during his Barcelona days. The difference is that Camavinga’s got through the top corner and reached an incredible century-old record though.

The record Camavinga broke tonight.

At 17 years and 332 days old, Eduardo Camavinga reached a 106-year-old milestone against Ukraine. Eduardo became the second-youngest France goal-scorer right behind Maurice Castiger, who scored his goal at 17 years and 156 days old.

This record still holds until today since 1914. It’s clear why Real Madrid is after this player, they know talent when they see it and they are trying to sign him next summer. Los Blancos won’t only come after Kylian Mbappe, Camavinga is also a high priority for ‘Zizou’ and Florentino.

Don’t be surprised if you see this Rennes star shine like no other youngster in world football this season. France’s youth system has no ceiling, they keep producing world-beaters to perpetuate their dominance.
