Borussia Dortmund’s youngster Youssoufa Moukoko just became the younger player to score a goal in Bundesliga history.

16 years and 28 days. That is the new record to beat for Bundesliga’s youngest goal-scorer. Moukoko dethroned former record holder Florian Wirtz with a stunning strike against Union Berlin. In fact, Wirtz only held the record for six months as Moukoko decided to spoil his party.

The young Cameroon-born sits comfortably at the top of a table that includes Julian Draxler, Timo Werner, and Christian Pulisic. It will be a tough one to beat if we consider that Moukoko is 1 year and 6 days younger than the previous record holder.

The Dortmund striker is having an amazing season so far, after becoming the youngest player to feature in a match at both Bundesliga and Champions League. Moreover, Borussia teammate Erling Haaland recently claimed that Moukoko is the world’s biggest talent at the moment.

The 16-year-old made history in the German league with a clean-looking finish. The powerful shot left Berlin’s goalkeeper nailed to the ground as he barely even saw it coming. However, the goal wasn’t enough to prevent BVB’s loss in the German capital tonight.

Watch below the record-breaking strike that gave Borussia Dortmund hopes of collecting points against Union Berlin.
