As one would expect, Robert Lewandowski continues to score for fun and his latest strike has come against Al-Ahly in the Club World Cup.

You probably guessed right. If there was one name expected to get on the score-sheet, it had to be Robert Lewandowski.

Reigning European champions Bayern Munich take on African giants Al-Ahly in the Club World Cup semis.

Prior to the game, the Egyptian side have been on a stunning 32-game unbeaten run but all of that is under threat of coming to an end.

Bayern started with a strong lineup against Al-Ahly, featuring the likes of Lewandowski, Gnabry, and Muller upfront.

Within the space of the first 20 minutes, the Bavarian side already saw about 70% of possession and it was inevitable they would score soon enough.

The signs were coming and the goal eventually came through in the 17th minute. Lewandowski received a pass from Gnabry inside the box to fire home his 28th goal of the season across all competitions.

As at the time of writing, Bayern remains in the ascendency in the game and look primed to defeat their opponents to advance to the Club World Cup finals.
