A day after his official presentation, Achraf Hakimi offered his first interview as a PSG player where he revealed his targets.
Achraf Hakimi is an official PSG player and he obviously has many main targets to cover at the French club. Even though we are talking mostly about Sergio Ramos’ arrival, we have to say that Hakimi is arguably a smarter purchase for the Ligue 1 giants. We are talking about one of the most versatile full-backs in the world right now with a long career ahead of him.
Even though Ramos is the star out of the two, Hakimi has the potential to become an elite-level player in less than two years. He finally offered his first extended interview as a PSG player to the club’s official website. Hakimi describes himself as a footballer and he revealed the targets in his mind for this new season. Also, he sent a message to all PSG supporters who are happy about his arrival after a long negotiation with Inter Milan.
Hakimi’s goals at PSG.
This is what Hakimi told PSG’s website: “I’m happy to be here, I can’t wait to take the next step, I can’t wait to get started, to meet my teammates and to be able to do great things here. I have a good image of France. PSG is a great club and they have shown it in recent years, by improving constantly. From my point of view, I want to continue building something great and reach the very top. That’s possible here. My opinion of the club is above all the fantastic players that are here and obviously big players want to come to a great club like Paris.
“So I’m happy to be here and to be part of the team. I’m a defender with the mind of a striker! I like to contribute to the attack, be in attacking areas and I think that here there are great players who will be able to help me. And above all that I can help the team achieve its goals. I have to help the team with my qualities and put them at the team’s disposal, to help it and achieve what we all want, to reach all the goals. In defense, I can play in a back 3, 5, 4, 2. Whatever the coach needs. I’m at his and the team’s disposal.”
