We got the first image of Leo Messi wearing a full PSG kit, it was just leaked amid his pending official presentation with the club.

The following leaked image of Leo Messi wearing the full PSG kit is not recommended for any die-hard FC Barcelona fan. After a hectic day upon his arrival to Paris, Lionel Messi still had a long day ahead of him. The first images of him wearing a white PSG tee was a prelude to the heartbreaking moment that was about to come for Barcelona fans. They never imagined watching him wearing a different jersey but that nightmare finally happened today.

After passing his medical with flying colors, it was time for him to step on the Parc des Princes pitch for the first time as a PSG player. Initially, we only caught a glimpse of the Argentine star posing with the number ‘30’ jersey. But the most dreaded moment was just moments away from that. We finally got confirmation of Messi touching the ball with a full PSG Jordan Brand kit inside PSG’s stadium. We can almost hear all Barcelona fans’ tears dropping as they see their idol with a different jersey.

Can Messi play next weekend?

Judging by how fast everything has progressed with Leo Messi’s presentation, there’s a chance he might see some minutes next weekend. PSG get a visit from Strasbourg in Ligue 1’s opening match. It will happen in front of at last 40,000 supporters with almost all the complete roster. Only Sergio Ramos won’t make his debut because he is still recovering from physical problems.

But Messi does have a chance to play at least a few minutes during the second half of the game. If this doesn’t happen, he will make his debut at Brest a week later. Certainly, it will be hard getting used to watching Leo playing with a kit other than Barcelona. But then again, we also didn’t think romance was dead in football. Today proved that money rules supreme in this sport and all the others. Even Messi got convinced to leave his beloved childhood club for millions of euros. It may be sad but it’s the truth.
