Despite the Covid-19 imposed restrictions, hundreds of Barcelona supporters gathered outside their stadium this Tuesday.
The UEFA Champions League’s knockout stage is back this week. Nevertheless, football fans will have to watch the action through their television sets. Unfortunately, the pandemic situation in both Spain and the rest of the world has forced clubs to close their stadiums.
However, the imminent threat of a Coronavirus outbreak hasn’t been enough to scare some fans away. In fact, Barcelona’s supporters have gathered around Camp Nou to show their support to the Blaugrana. In the images that surfaced online, hundreds of fans are railed outside of Barca’s stadium. The Cules’ loud chants are enough to give an additional boost to their squad, who undoubtedly will need to feel the support.
Barcelona will face Paris Saint-Germain this Tuesday night for the UCL’s Round of 16. Although Neymar won’t be available to play against his former team, recent history tells us that the clashes between the two clubs are quite entertaining. In fact, there have always been at least two goals scored on each clash between Barcelona and PSG in the Champions League.
