Some furious Blaugrana fans surrounded the under-fire manager as he tried to drive away from Camp Nou.
A group of livid Barcelona fans targeted manager Ronald Koeman’s car as he tried to leave Camp Nou following Sunday’s 2-1 Clasico defeat to Real Madrid.
Another high-profile defeat has thrown Koeman back on the wrong side of the spotlight. Losing at home is always distasteful, but doing so to your arch-rivals is even worse. The result left Barcelona down in ninth-place in La Liga and marked a new level of frustration among the ‘Cules’.
As Koeman drove away from Camp Nou, a large group of supporters confronted him. Some even banged on the bonnet of his vehicle and insulted him while he drove off.

Barcelona respond to the attack
After footage of the incident emerged on social media, Barcelona condemned the ‘violent and disdainful acts’ towards the manager and vowed to implement measure to ensure it wouldn’t happen again.
Koeman is yet to make any comment on the incident himself, having already spoken to the press in a post-match conference before he drove off.
FC Barcelona publicly condemns the violent and disdainful acts that our manager experienced when leaving the Camp Nou. The Club will take security and disciplinary measures so that such unfortunate events do not happen again.
